PARENT -TEACHER ASSOCIATION MEETING

On Sunday the 30th January 2022 a Parents-Teachers association meeting was convened at Kivu Hills Academy to discussed issues ranging from the school vision, measures to surmount COVID 19 consequences, electing a New PTA committee among other topics. The Parents commended the school’s feeding and academic program mentioning that students look very healthy, clean and smart when they return home for holidays. One Parent by names of Faustin recommended a technical and financial study for KHA fence to enhance the beauty and safety of the school. Commenting on the idea of the fence, the Mr John Gasangwa, the school legal representative said that the management is very concerned about the security of the school and that the fence would also be taken into consideration as it is one of the priorities. He also added that the school’s main goal is to provide quality affordable education and emphasized that there was no intention to raise the tuition fees in this academic year. During this meeting, parents elected a committee of seven members whose main role will be to represent other parents and work closely with the school administration to enhance the academic, welfare and economical advances of the institution. Mr. Faustin Ndimubanzi was elected President of the committee. He will serve with Mr. Uwineza Delice who is the Vice-President and Mrs. Beatrice Uwagiraneza , PTA Secretary and 4 advisors. The school Principal expressed his gratefulness towards all parents who have trusted the school by enrolling their children in various trades of kHA. He particularly thanked to those who attended the meeting and adjourned the meeting. Thereafter, Parents had time to visit the campus, see students in practical classes and visit the school’s cultural village
